What Are The Best Interactive Dog Toys for Large Breed Dogs?

Dogs come in all shapes and sizes. Although Great Danes, German Shepherds, and other breeds are larger than most pups, they still love toys! It’s a big task finding the right fit for your tremendous friend, especially when they’re a heavy chewer and dwarf most toys. Tennis balls are easily destroyed and plush toys are easily crushed. These special pups need more of a challenge. Here are a few interactive toys to entertain them and get that tail wagging.

Spiky Core Balls!

You can roll it, throw it, and squeak it. The “Lady Liberty Ball” and “Shredible Arrangements” are the perfect size for your larger pup’s jowls.  Spiky Core Ball Toys are fun and a great fit for a pup who loves to shred fabric. Once the fabric is gone, there’s still the Spiky Ball left to play with. There’s a good chance your pup will be more excited for the ball than the fabric it came in!

Treat Dispensing!

Your pup loves to be rewarded just as much as you do! Treat Dispensing toys are an easy way to keep your pal busy by popping drool-worthy training treats inside and letting them go at it. Toys like the “Shuck N’ Chuck Corn Cob” and the “Treat Maze” are a great break from the traditional kong-like items and much more interactive.

Tug Toys!

It’s no secret dogs love a good game of tug-of-war, and large pups are no exception. Tug is a fantastic way for your pal to burn off some energy. With larger (and stronger) pups it can be a bit difficult to find a toy that allows them to pull with all of their strength and stand the test of time. Toys like “Drop the Mic” and “Horseshoed Horace The Crab” give your pup something to fit comfortably in their mouths and a stronger rope than the average Tug Toy.

Fetch Toys!

Big dogs deserve big fun! But while classic tennis balls are great, it’s always nice to change it up now and then. Step up your game of fetch with toys like “Launchable Landon,” which squeaks and flies through the air with help from bungee technology, and the large rattling “Peg The Prized Pig.” Then there’s “Gobble Gobble Gus,” which is super-durable for the heaviest of chewers. Not only do these toys add a new, fun element to fetch, but they’ll tire out your pooch too.

Super Chewer BarkBox!
