When we asked for your help finding dog organizations in need of donations, we never expected the sheer scale of replies—almost 30k, to be exact! Truly, we underestimated the power of dog people. How silly of us. Thank you so very much for taking the time to cheer for your favorite rescue, shelter, or group doing good for dogs. We’re preparing to ship out a whole lot of food, toys, and treats, an effort that will continue throughout the new year!
To kick off the Giving Tuesday excitement, we invited a few canine residents from Animal Haven (recommended by pups Dougie, Cora, Kingston, Skipper, Frankie and Rosie), to come to the BARK office for a HUGE toy free-for-all. Needless to say, they loved it.
These pups are available for adoption at Animal Haven, along with more friends looking for their forever families. Check out their bios here.
If you are able, Animal Haven is always accepting donations here.
We try to be more like dogs every day. Not by eating chicken wings off the sidewalk or shouting at firetrucks in the distance, but in the way they love and anticipate love in return.
We make it a priority to give back to dogs in need, because we know they’d show us the same level of compassion. Probably up-the-nose kisses, too. If you or anyone you know would like to submit additional recommendations for a rescue, shelter, or community organization helping pups and people in your area, please add it to the form below!
