Air Force Dog Saves a Village, Retires With Pawnor

We know dogs are the bravest, most loyal pals you could hope to find, so we absolutely ruv when they get the kind of recognition the deserve. And few could be more deserving that Eddie, a 5-year-old Air Force canine solder.

Eddie detected not one, but two IEDs, saving the lives of his fellow troops and an entire Afghan village.

Eddie served pawnorably from 2010 until recently when the complications of a heatstroke forced an early retirement. But don’t worry, Eddie got a send-off worthy of any war hero and will have a lot more time to enjoy belly rubs and fetch.
