Iraq Veteran Reunited with Ecstatic Bomb-Sniffing Dog

US Army Sgt. Jason Bos spent 5 years with MWD Cila M389, the bomb-sniffing chocolate lab he called Cici. Jason and Cici bonded in Iraq as she helped sniff out roadside bombs and hidden weapons. Two years ago, Jason had to leave the army due to an injury and he was especially bummed because he thought he would never see Cici again.

Then, Jason saw a Facebook post mentioning that Cici was retiring. When the pup’s kennel master contacted Jason to see if he was interested in adopting her, Jason couldn’t say yes fast enough.

When Cici flew to O’Hare airport in Chicago, Jason worried that she might not remember him, it had been two years after all. Watch her reaction below. <3
