Update 5/27/15 9:01 pm

We just received news that the no-kill NYC based rescue Animal Haven pulled Titan from AC&C! They re-named him Hero and he is currently up for adoption there!

If you want more information on how Hero is doing, and how to give this truly deserving pup his furever home, contact them here!

Original Post:

Titan is a 12 year-old German Shepherd who is sweeter than anything. Not only that, he’s a hero. He alerted his former family to a house fire, allowing them to get out in time and saved their lives.

Unfortunately, his family has had financial troubles lately and had to surrender their lifesaver to New York City’s Animal Care and Control. Poor Titan lost the only family he has ever known since he was an 8-week-old puppy.

Titan is housetrained, loves people and kids, and is great with other pups!

It’s urgent that Titan be pulled ASAP! For information on him and how to contact the shelter, click here. Don’t let Titan’s story end this way.
