There’s a Magazine About Hating Dogs, but Dog People Love it Too

Sometimes, you just gotta tell that poop joke. Or so Wulf Beleites, founder of the German "Dog Hater" magazine Kot & Köter feels. It's in the title. Kot in German means poop. Köter? Pooper. Started as a joke with fellow journalist friends, the idea quickly became something more. A crowd funding effort later and BAM: Kot & Köter became a reality. The satiric magazine started off with feature about Hitler and his dog Blondi. It's written articles about the benefits of an alarm system versus the trials and travails of having a German Shepherd, as well as a piece on "slutty poodles." When he was a child, he was nipped by a pup and has been distant towards dogs ever since. Perhaps, however the doges have the last laugh. Although he's not a huge fan of dogs, they love him. According to his wife, in public places, "the dogs always go to him." Clearly the pooches are not lacking in their own sense of humor. :) [caption id="attachment_22541" align="aligncenter" width="650"]Image via Ritnord Image via Ritnord[/caption]
