At 11:30pm, a loud noise startled Kirk Fetter awake. When he went outside to investigate, he saw his 8 year old dog, Tiki, in the mouth of a huge mountain lion.
Kirk, who was wearing only his underwear, didn’t think – he immediately charged at the lion. Amazingly, he frightened the big cat away and she dropped Tiki on the ground. The pup has wounds on her head, but her veterinarian says that she’ll be okay!
Such great news! We’re very glad that Tiki and her human are safe.
