Dog Posts Love Letter To His Human On Instagram For ‘Woman Crush Wednesday’

A couple of months ago, Bentley, a dog, posted a love letter to his mom on Instagram for #WCW (#WomanCrushWednesday). The post was sweet, silly, and 100% adorable:

#wcw to the woman who has taught me everything I know about being sassy, my beautiful mother! Thank you for unlimited doggie treats, bedtime cuddles, and your underwear to chew up at my disposal (it will not stop). I almost don’t deserve all your spoilings; but I won’t say no.

Yesterday, the internet discovered this little post and completely freaked out. They also completely got the facts wrong:

I suppose it would be pretty tacky if someone did post a #WCW about themselves, but that’s not what happened here.

The woman’s boyfriend did.

The majority of the people commenting on this very sweet Instagram post, both on Instagram and on Twitter, see this post as an exercise in vanity. But we’d rather focus on the heartwarming truth – this woman is obviously a very good pup parent and both her boyfriend and her dog love her very much. That’s definitely worthy of a #WomanCrushWednesday.
