For Good Story

image-copy How many times have you walked past a homeless person with a sign that said “Need food” or “money” or “work”? What would you do if it said “Dog in pound, need help” instead? When Wilma Price saw this very sign, she couldn’t just ignore it - she had to stop and help the man holding it. That man, Patrick, explained that he’d spent two nights in jail for trespassing, during which his dog, Franklin, was taken to a local shelter and labeled a stray. It would cost $120 to get him back. “I'm not leaving town until I get my dog,” Patrick told Price, according to CBS News. “That dog is my life.” With the help of a friend, Price retrieved the necessary funds and reunited Patrick and Franklin. Naturally, Patrick shed many tears as his dog leapt into his arms, right where he belongs. If you’d like to help this man and his dog get back on their feet again, please consider contributing to their GoFundMe.
