Fromm Family Foods has been around long enough to figure out what they find really important (112 years, to be exact). Thursday, March 3, the 5th-generation family-owned business lent a paw to nearby communities in Michigan—by donating more than 38,000 cans of food to non-profit shelters and rescues.
Fromm gives to various groups and events throughout the year, but these adoptable pups are about to be over the moon with this deliciousness. Brand Director Brian Neiman says:
We are incredibly proud to be able to lend some support to another Midwestern community. We hope this food donation will do some good for Michigan families and their pets as well as the amazing non-profits that work tirelessly to save as many animals as possible.
Mr. Gary “Rattlesnake” Harmon, our hero truck driver, drove through the night to deliver the food with Rottweiler Kiev by his side. Several cars, trucks, and animal control vans were loaded to the brim, and volunteers from every shelter came out to help with the big unloading.
Macomb County Animal Control, The Humane Society of Genesee County, I Heart Dogs and Animal Haven, Heavenly Paws, and Semper Fidelis are among the very grateful recipients. Fromm also donated $500 to residents in Flint, Michigan for bottled water in the midst of the town’s water crisis.
We love to see animal lovers helping out in local communities, and we bet the pups love it even more! Thanks a bunch, Fromm, and keep up the awesome work!
If you’d like to request a donation from Fromm to your local organization or event, please select “Donations” on their contact page and send a message right on over! These are handled on a case-by-case basis, according to the company’s website, but a helpful human will get back to you shortly!
