From saving homeless dogs from being euthanized, to raising absurd amounts of money, get ready to swoon as we count down the top celeb dog dads changing the lives of pups everywhere. Which celebrity will lead the pack?

11. Hugh Jackman

Pup’s Name: Dali, a French Bulldog.

Why We Love Him: As anyone who follows Hugh on Instagram knows, Hugh is rarely without his beloved Frenchie, Dali. He also uses those viral insta images to raise awareness about various pup related organizations. High paws Hugh, high paws.

10. Zac Efron

Pup’s Name: Puppy, a Australian Shepherd.

Why We Love Him: Despite the lack of creativity in his dog’s name (maybe it’s ironically simple), Zac is a big animal welfare supporter and works to raise money for rescue organizations. We’re okay with the fact that he did that Nicholas Sparks movie now.

9. Orlando Bloom

Pup’s Name: Sidi, a Saluki mix.

Why We Love Him: Orlando rescued Sidi while filming Kingdom of Heaven and if that’s not enough to melt your heart he also supports various dog rescue causes. I guess we can forgive him for Pirates of The Caribbean Three, but no promises.

8. Ryan Reynolds

Pup’s Name: Baxter, a Golden Retriever.

Why We Love Him: A strong supporter of animal rescue causes, Ryan adopted his Golden Retriever Baxter while at a shelter looking for a dog for a friend. This proves once and for all that celebs are just as easily swayed by puppy eyes as normal people.
