Forrest Gump once said, “Life’s like a box of chocolates… You never know what you’re gonna get.” Well, this statement could not hold more true if you are the lucky recipient of a lovely box of dog poo chocolates. (FYI: Poo shaped, not poo flavored.)

To make dog poop chocolates you need:

-Poop mold like this one, this one, or this one!
-Chocolate for melting
-Freezer
-A bit of butter
Hershey’s mini kisses

To start, take about two tablespoons of butter and put it in a bowl with just over half the bag of chocolate chips. (If that’s the type of chocolate you’re using to melt.) Microwave the chocolate and butter until you can stir it smooth. Be careful not to overmelt the chocolate or it will burn and your dog poop chocolates will turn out more like literal poo!

Take a spatula and a spoon and put your melted chocolate into the poop mold. This will be a little messy. After you have all of the poop molds filled, thump the whole mold tray on the counter top for about 4-5 minutes. This will get all of the air bubbles out of your chocolate so that you don’t have bubbly poo. Put the whole mold in the freezer for about 30 minutes to solidify the chocolate poops.

After your chocolate poops have been in the freezer for a bit, pop them out onto a plate and melt a bit more chocolate and butter.

Spread the extra chocolate in the little dips of the molds…

And place the mini kisses on top! Let these sit for about an hour before you put them in a box so that the mini kiss has time to stick.

I know it’s weird to mention that these poops are super cute… But… These poops are super cute.
