Jason Schwartman’s upcoming movie, 7 Chinese Brothers, will have an added bonus for dog lovers. It also stars Jason’s very own dog, Arrow! (Sneak peeks below.)

When asked how his dog ended up in the movie, the actor responded: “[The director] says I forced Arrow into the film, like, ‘You should meet my dog.’ I don’t recall that I did, but maybe I did.”

The character played by Schwartzman has a very strong bond with his dog, and the actor says he was able to play upon the real life bond he had with Arrow to strengthen his performance.

“I don’t talk to him out loud as much [as my character does], but we spend a lot of time together. We’re always just together. And one of the things about Arrow’s personality is he will just sit next to you. A bigger dog or a different dog probably would’ve just walked away when [the director] would’ve yelled ‘cut.’ But because Arrow would just sit there next to you, we could do these extended takes.”

That’s pawesome, Jason! We can’t wait to see the chemistry between you and Arrow. For the time being, we’ll just have to watch these hilarious clips over and over!

This one’s the best (more dog!):
