Derpy Dog Convinces Everyone To Join The Bark Side At The Star Wars Premiere

Carrie Fisher is awesome. That’s a fact. It’s not even up for debate. The actress, who is reprising her role as Princess – sorry, I mean General Leia – in the new Star Wars film had the cutest, derpiest date for The Force Awakens premiere.

Her dog, Gary!

Gary first charmed the paws off of the world when he appeared with Fisher in an interview on Good Morning America. Last night, he was at it again mugging it up for the cameras at the premiere of the most anticipated movie of every geek’s life – or at least my life… okay, well, at least the most anticipated movie of my life for the past few years.

Gary is a bit of a troublemaker. Sometimes, his mom had to use the Force to keep him in line, as evident in the photo above.

(What? You mean that’s just her talking to him like the crazy dog lady she is and not using the Force? What? You mean the Force isn’t real? LIES.)

Things almost got a little out of hand when stormtroopers spotted the pup. Fisher intervened to protect her dog. However, as you can tell by the look on his face, Gary, much like his mom, doesn’t give any effs about anything – not even stormtroopers.

One thing did give Gary pawse – the new droid, BB8.

He was not sure how he felt about it or what to do with it. Does he play with it? Does he eat it? Does he lick it? Does he attack it? WHAT IS LIFE? Or, maybe he’s just R2D2 was the droid he was looking for.

One thing is for certain, Gary is the luckiest muttherpupper in this galaxy or in any galaxy – no matter how far, far, away. He’s seen the Force Awakens already. He knows everything that happens! Sadly, he’s not all tongue and isn’t willing to spill any spoilers for the rest of us who haven’t seen it yet.
