To be a dog lover is to love all dogs, but there are some pups that just make you reach your arms out to hug them as soon as you see them, even if all you’re looking at is a picture on the computer screen. At least that’s the immediate reaction I had to Moose.

Those thundering paws. Them fabulous folds. That hippo snout. Those teefs!

I’m in love.

Hold on, I’m not done ruining your day with the cutest frickin’ tank of wobbleheadedness you’ve seen in a while.

This handsome chunk of meaty ruv was found as a stray by Fresno Humane Animal Services in California, where Moose is being fostered by Noelani Guerrero of @noelaniig, an Instagram account that shares the lives of five Pitties and the lucky foster pups who temporarily stay with them before going off to their forever homes.

(There’s Moose happily flanked by his foster siblings.)

Although he was found with demodectic mange, this hefty boy is getting better with treatment and is ready to be adopted by someone who won’t mind having their heart stolen and never given back.

According to his adoption application through Animal Compassion Team, Moose is a neutered 75-pound beefy cuddling machine. And, as you can see, he’s great at making friends.

Moose is currently in Fresno, CA, but out-of-state potential adopters will be considered. If you or someone you know suffers from the kind of loneliness only a dog like Moose could fix, submit an adoption application. Moose is counting on us to make sure he finds someone who can handle his dopey cuteness.

You can follow Moose’s journey on Instagram and Facebook.
