We had a great time in the Windy City!

Saturday was a busy day packed with a meet and greet, and then our first benefit dinner to raise awareness and funds for PAWS Chicago! We held the dinner at the Hotel Monaco and were so honored to host Laurie, who told us all about the amazing work that PAWS is doing in Chicago, and outside of Chicago as well! And, did you know that PAWS stands for Pets Are Worth Saving!? The BEST acronym ever!

At the dinner, we met some amazing people who shared with us ways that Tuna has impacted their lives. In addition, we were able to auction off #tunainterpretations art pieces! One amazing piece done by a Chicago local Dan Warcinski (@cartoondan123) was auctioned off to Janet, an avid Tuna lover who attended the dinner with her sister Renee.

Dan’s painting, which is a meme of Tuna “Phetven” is so fitting for Janet because her husband’s name is Stephen with a “ph”!

Janet and Renee told us about the various ways that Tuna has melted their hearts. Janet said “Tuna’s pics became the highlight of my work day and soon became a part of my life.”

Renee told us that “Tuna lifts our spirits and melts our hearts everyday!”

We raised over $1000 for PAWS Chicago during the dinner and there’s so much more work to do!

We are so blessed to be meeting so many amazing people with incredible words of encouragement to share! Can’t wait to see all of you in Cleveland tonight!
