Congratulations on finding someone to share your love of dogs! If the idea of leaving your dog at home or in boarding doesn’t sound like a good way to start off your married life, we’ve got some great news for you — you don’t have to! Here are some dog-friendly places you and the love of your life can enjoy — along with your spouse, of course. 😉
1. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
There are plenty of pet-friendly luxury & beachside resorts including One&Only Palmilla, The Westin Resort & Spa Los Cabos, Hilton Los Cabos, ME Cabo, and Capella Pedregal.
Las Ventanas al Paraiso pawffers “Canine Delights” menus, in addition to doggie massage, portable canine cabanas, a dog walking service, and more. Wait a minute, whose honeymoon is this?!
2. Paris, France (Le DUH)
If you think you have to leave your pup at home, you can baguette about it. (Rolling my eyes at myself for that one). A Pittie In Paris? Yes please. Also can that please be made into a movie.
Fur real though, there are lots of pup-friendly Parisian places to go. It is very common to see dogs sitting outside (or inside) Parision cafes
.
There are also a number of dog-friendly parks such as Bois de Boulogne, Bois de Vincennes, the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, the dog run at Parc Georges Brassens, and the area overlooking the Tuileries Gardens, to name a few.

3. Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Four legged friends are allowed inside most shops and cafes as long as they are leashed, and many of the city’s popular parks cater to pets. And no need to worry about getting around. There are lots of pawptions. My #squadgoals have never been so serious.
If you’re not much of a biker, there’s also this.
Oosterpark and Sarphatipark both have pet-friendly sections, and Flevopark even has a swimming area for dogs in the summer.
There are also lots of pet-friendly hotels such as The Toren, De L’Europe, Petit Prince, Ambassade Hotel, and the Intercontinental Amstel.
4. San Juan, Puerto Rico
More like Pawto Rico, am I right?! Sorry, I’ve been staring at pictures of honeymooners for hours so I’m using that as a justification to include a nauseating amount of puns. But back to the newlyweds! There are lots of dog-friendly beaches, such as Ocean Park Beach and Hobie Cat Beach on Isla Verde.
The Verdanza Hotel also offers pet beds, toys and treats.
There’s more. They also recently built “PawsPark,” an on-site outdoor pet park complete with an agility course.
5. Whistler, British Colombia
If your pawtner and your pooch ruv the outdoors, Whistler is definitely a great choice. There are lots of hiking trails with amazing views.
Cause you’ll need something to look at when you’re third wheeling it. Again.
You can enjoy Rainbow Park’s “Barking Bay”, Lost Lake Park’s “Canine Cove”, and Alpha Lake Park’s “Arfa Park. Whistler just scored a lot of points for all those puns (in my book).
6. San Diego, California.
Don’t I mean…San DIOGO? Does that pun even work? I don’t know anymore. Ok anyway, my relationship goals have been updated.
There are lots of pup friendly beaches. I mean, they even have dog SURFING competitions.
There are also tons of restaurants that not only allow dogs on the patio, but will also come around to fill up their water bowls or even give them treats. Check out, OBistro Cafe, The Regal Beagle, and The Patio on Goldfinch.
In addition to beaches and restaurants, dogs are welcome at a vast variety of hotels like The Westin, Empress Hotel La Jolla , and the Fairmont Grand Del Mar.
8. Park City, Utah
Also referred to as Bark City, Utah, this is an ideal place for couples who love dogs and the outdoors. Many of the pet hotels even have pet ambassadors. Some of the pet friendly hotels in Bark City are the Hyatt Escala Lodge, Montage Deer Valley , and the St. Regis Deer Valley .
Park City offers more than 350 miles of trails and 7,000 acres of preserved open space walking, exploring, and taking picnic pics.
9. Palm Springs, California
There is no shortage of places to stay in Pawlm Springs. The Saguaro Palm Springs, The Ace Hotel & Swim Club, and Caliente Tropics Resort are among the top of the list.
Dogs are more than welcome to partake in experiencing fine cuisine. Lulu California Bistro, Cafe Europa, and Spencer’s to name a few.
10. Venice, Italy.
We can’t talk about honeymoons without talking about Italy.
Some of the top pet friendly hotels are Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo, , Hotel Ai Cavalieri, and Hotel Vanieli.
And as for restaurants, check out St Mark’s Basilica with numerous cafes that serve scrumptious pastries and cappuccinos. Go ahead. Bon Appetit! (That’s only a sexual innuendo if you make it one. Ya sickos.)
