Piglet And Pups Need A Home Where They Can Keep Their Squad Goals On Point

**Update 11/25/2015**

The Triple P. are going to have an incredible holiday season! They’ve been adopted! Sarah McKillip, the Shelter Manager at Animal Rescue League of Berks County, told us that the pups and pig are heading to their forever home Friday morning!

What great news! We can’t wait to hear about all of their adventures in their new home!

**Original Story**

Known as “Triple P.,” Pickles, Paprika and Pattie (the pig) are getting ready to start their own band – okay, no they’re not, but they’ve already got the band name, great hair and a super tight bond that no amount of fame could break. However, the one thing the Triple P. is missing is a forever home.

Someone abandoned the three animals in September and then the Animal Rescue League of Berks County took them in. The dogs were covered in fleas and missing most of their hair. It was clear they’d been through quite a bit and only had each other for comfort.

Sarah McKillip, the shelter’s manager, said:

They sleep together. They do everything together, go for walks together. The littlest one rides the pig’s back, and they’re like a real family.

It’s very important to the shelter (and Pattie, Pickles, and Paprika) that these animals stay together.

It’s hard enough to keep three rescue dogs together, it’s even harder to keep three animals together when they’re different species. Sarah says the shelter has seen a lot of interest in each of the animals, but no one has shown interest in adopting all three members of the family together.

That is until recently. This unusual squad’s story is going viral. Here’s what the shelter had to say on their Facebook page:

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to our FaceBook family for helping spread the word about Triple P. Also a huge thank you…

We’re so happy that it seems like Pattie, Pickles, and Paprika will stay together and live happily ever after. We hope that their story inspires others to consider adopting bonded animals, even if they form an unconventional family. Sometimes, families come in really unexpected packages, but all that matters is love!
