Barry Gearhart of West Palm Beach, Florida endured something no dog parent should ever have to. Someone stole his precious Pibble, Titan, out of the back of his truck more than a year ago, leaving no trace of where he could have gone.

Barry went into a frenzy trying to locate Titan, canvasing neighborhoods and posting updates and pleas feverishly on his Facebook page in hopes that one day he would be reunited with his dog.

It all seemed a fruitless effort until this past Sunday, when a woman recognized Titan’s photo on the Loxahatchee Lost and Found Facebook page and alerted Barry to her discovery. Upon hearing the news, Barry rushed to the shelter Titan had been held at since the previous November.
Although there are no details as to where Titan was between his abduction and November, he was healthy and, most of all very happy to see his hooman—who was moved to tears when he saw his dog. Barry and Titan have since posted a series of updates on Barry’s Facebook page of their reunion, but the real winner is this emotional video Barry posted of the moment the two best friends saw each other again.
