Germany is currently winning at everything Pug. Over 200 Pugs took over Berlin this August in an epic event for Pug owners to meet, greet, and bond over their beloved pups.
Many devoted Pug owners met from all over the world to revel in these magnificent dogs. Activities included treats, shopping, and a Pug race.
Pugs have quickly become one of the most popular breeds in Berlin, notably for their personality and relatively compact size, which makes them easy to transport throughout the city.
One Pug lover, Christine Hoffmann, notes:
“I have wanted a dog for a long time and I wanted someone to accompany me, that I could take everywhere and therefore the Pug is just perfect. He comes everywhere with me. He makes people happy wherever he goes and he’s a perfect dog for life in the city.”
