MUST WATCH: Puppy Born Without Back Feet Runs Around In Special Booties

Sorry, guys (but yay, Justin!) — this special puppy’s already been adopted.

That doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy the impossibly cute little squishmonster (yes, that’s a technical term) in this amazing video courtesy of Best Friends Animal Society.

It shows our sweet boy, who was born with no back feet, getting fitted with booties that help him walk more easily — and then running into his new mom’s arms.

Justin with No Back Paws Wearing Booties

Justin was born under a house to a mother who died giving birth. Justin and his siblings — whose feet are fully formed — were taken in by the family living in the house under which they’d been born.

This was Justin as a baby. C’mon – it’s almost unfair how cute he is.

Through a network of rescue groups and dog lovers, Justin made his way to Best Friends’ Utah sanctuary this spring. That’s where he was given lots of toys, love, medical treatment, and that slick set of booties.

Actually, no, not slick. Make that: adorable, with traction enough for Justin to run around as much as the little puppy wants.

Sometimes he still prefers sitting. Like when he’s in the car, going on home.

You can read all about Justin’s remarkable journey on the Best Friends website.

They’ve promised updates as Justin settles into his new life in California. Which is good, because at this point we don’t think we could survive not seeing more photos and videos.

If you’re #teamjustin for life like we are, be aware: there are lots more special needs animals still looking for great homes.
