This adorable Pittie puppy, now named May, had a ruff start to life. At three weeks old, her possessive mama lashed out when May tried to eat food from her mother’s bowl.
The pup suffered a broken jaw that required extensive surgery. The Vet Ranch in Texas stepped up to help the wounded May. Due to the dog’s young age and size, the surgery was delicate and thought to require a prolonged recovery.

However, May healed faster than expected. After one week, she was back to eating a mixture of milk and canned food!
