Precious Rudi, who is only a few months old, wandered onto someone’s porch in Oklahoma City last week. She was desperately searching for someone to save her.
Rudi is missing her nose and part of her ear has been sliced off.
Rescuers don’t know how this happened. They think that it’s likely the result of animal cruelty, but there is a possibility that she was attacked by another animal.
Rudi, named after Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer, is also very underweight. It’s clear that she did not have a happy past. However, her future looks bright. While the damage to her nose is permanent, she still has her sense of smell.
She is currently recovering at a veterinary office and will be up for foster and adoption once she is well.
Because rescuers suspect that a human is responsible for the Pit Bull mix’s injuries, they’ve partnered with Crime Stoppers and are seeking any information about the Pittie puppy.
