Meet The Dogs And The Prison Inmates Who Are Saving Each Other’s Lives

**Get ready for a tearjerker, dear readers. I mean a mascara-streaming-down-your-face, faith-in-humanity-restored weeper.** Prison---it's a place most people will do anything to avoid. But pawradoxically, prison is literally a life-saver for the thousands of unwanted pups enrolled in the Castaways program. Founded in October of 2002, Castaways has paired 6,000 of society's discarded dogs with prisoners so that both canine and human souls can be rehabilitated. There's hope for us all yet!
