is taking over the world. This post-Thanksgiving surge of generosity has amazing people giving, giving, and giving some more in the form of time, love, thanks, or funds to a cause they care about.
In one of the CUTEST #GivingTuesday campaigns we've seen yet, the Big Dog Ranch Rescue
knows to give their faithful supporters exactly want they want---and that is to see the dogs who live there being loved and cherished like the fuzzy miracles they are.
After all, how lucky did we get as a race of beings on this particular planet to be gifted with the ultimate present that is dog? Too lucky, if you ask me.
BUT, if you help the rescue reach their $25,000 goal, they'll bring you inside their walls without having to step one foot beyond your door. For every donation made, no matter the amount, volunteers and workers will record a dog receiving "attention, love, and special one-on-one time," to be viewed by all on their Facebook page
The three possibilities for an adorable donation video include 1) puppy playtime, during which they will take a dog out to the yard and give 'em lots of rubs and toys and opportunities for zoomies, 2) a refreshing dip in the tub, A.K.A. a bath, but they're in Florida so it's basically playtime (ear scratches included), or 3) some much-needed loving, including but not limited to treats and belly rubs.
After all, the Big Dog Ranch knows that generosity means a lot of things. "#GivingTuesday isn't just about the money," they wrote on their website
, "It's about what it does and how it touches the lives of those you're helping."
The rescue is almost halfway to their goal, and we've been checking out the great moments that have been posted so far! Like this puppy swimming pool bath time sesh! It looks like the little guy on the left is more interested in going for a walk, but who can blame him?
Or these little fluffers getting some deep-tissue scratches from a volunteer.
OR this gem, where little Ivy has a few precious moments to get in her kiss quota for the day!
Every personal moment means the world to these dogs; while they wait in their kennel for a forever family to come along and fall in love, a few tummy pats and extra treats can get them through the day. It's the little things, remember? Keep it up, you guys, this is just too much cuteness and good all rolled up into one great #GivingTuesday.
