Of course Fido loves the delicious treats in his BarkBox. But has there ever been a time that you wanted to make him something extra special to eat? Here’s an idea: Make these super simple homemade Peanut Butter Biscuits with four ingredients you probably have on hand. It’ll make fido soooo happy!

This recipe comes from Dog Treat Kitchen and could not be easier.

2 cups flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup peanut butter, chunky or smooth
1 1/4 cups hot water

(It’s cool to halve the recipe)

1. Mix dry ingredients together.
2. Mix in the peanut butter & hot water. Add more flour if the dough gets too sticky.
3. Since Fido doesn’t have time for you to roll out the dough and cut into shapes with cookie cutters (which you can), place spoonfuls of dough* (1 heaping tablespoon each) on a cookie sheet. You can cram a lot onto the cookie sheet since they don’t spread. Bake for roughly 30 minutes at 350 degrees (less if you like them softer).

*If you’re feeling fancy, you can roll the dough into balls and make a cross hatch fork park (like peanut butter cookies).

Tip: Add a banana or some applesauce for additional flavor.

How long are they good for? One week in a baggy, three weeks in the fridge and 6 months in the freezer.
