Kelsey Anderson was having a particularly brutal finals season, which is where Cooper the German Shepherd, a therapy dog, came in to comfort her. She was so struck with Cooper's fluffy calmness when he visited her university's library that she started bawling. We've all been there, Kelsey.
"I don't know why, because I'm not much of a crier, but I just started sobbing," Kelsey told The Dodo
. "Then the dog came right over to me and started licking my face. I wrapped my arms around him, and it was a very nice moment."
The University of Connecticut, where she studies, has a program that brings in at least three therapy animals per day (including small horses) to comfort the students during finals week. Kelsey was studying last minute for an exam that would greatly affect her grade and stressing her out to no end. She needed Cooper's hugs.
Good luck on your finals, Kelsey!
