Top 5 BarkBox Dogs With Jobs

Hello all. Scout the office dog here. It’s no secret that I am the hardest working employee that the BarkBox team has– I mean, I seriously wonder what those humans would do without me some days. I never see them digging their teeth in a new toy to test its effectiveness or tasting a new treat that comes in. (Actually, I did see Erin and Stacie try a treat once. I was a little miffed because that is my job.)

In honor of all my hard work, I wanted to see what other dogs in the BarkBox community worked their tails off each day.

5. Children’s Book Star

From Katherine: “My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Gabby, comes to work with me almost every day. She has a bed under my desk and spends most of the day snoozing on my feet. Every so often she makes the rounds and visits my co-workers for tummy rubs. Gabby is also the star my children’s book, Little Gabby Meets Her New Family!”

4. Annie the Store Greeter
From Erin: “This is my golden Annie working hard as store greeter at Hot Diggity, a dog boutique on Cape Cod. I lost her to cancer this November, but I love this picture of her doing one of her favorite things (she was paid very well in treats).”

3. Shadow the CEO

From Anna Yu: “Shadow is hard at work here as top dog at Kiip. Attending every meeting is tough work but she’s got to make the right call. First off is reprimanding the guy giving her bunny ears!”

PS. She’s definitely enjoying the latest BarkBox! Elton the Octopus is already getting a lot of love despite her busy work schedule.

2. Roger the Shepherd

Translation by Max Williger: “Hi, My name is Roger and I’m an Australian Shepherd.  Isn’t my name funny?  I was born on October 4th, or 10-4.  Roger!  I like to herd sheep, but I also love to get my picture taken. Aren’t I cute?”

1. Talos the Service Dog

Translated by Kathy: “Hello my name is Talos and I’m the best service dog ever. When not working for mom, I’m holding up the couch.”

Honorable Mention: Berlin Bulldog the Garbage Disposal

From literature stars to service rockstars, we dogs are some hardworking critters. (Are you listening BarkBox humans? I’d like that raise we’ve been talking about.)

And to all you pups out there, I received so many submissions, so check back for future installments. And if you want to see your pup in here, just feel free to email your photos to [email protected].
