When a tornado ripped through Texas two weeks ago, one pup made the news for her immeasurably loving and heartbreaking actions. When her parents died in the disaster, the scared dog crawled under her their arms for protection and comfort, even though they could no longer offer either.

But thankfully, Michelle Shockley, a volunteer rescue worker, has adopted the homeless pup! Now named Emma, the Great Pyrenees is recovering from injuries sustained during the tornado, and luckily has a loving mom by her side. Get better soon, Emma. We’re all cheering for you.
