Owners of rescued pups, get ready to share your stories for the good of other shelter dogs!

Virginia-based dog treat maker Barkworthies has been producing its all-natural line of treats and chews since 2011. With a mission of “simpler is better,” the company has decided to make it simpler for animal lovers to give back with its Chews Rescue contest on Facebook.

Don’t forget – for every entry, we donate another $5 to Richmond Animal League…so share with your friends! https://chewsrescue.pgtb.me/HS3Wt4

As part of their 2-month shelter campaign, they’re asking people to share photos and stories of their rescued pet on their Facebook page. For every entry until April 30, 2016, they will donate $5 to the Richmond Animal League (RAL).

The company kicked off the campaign with a generous $10,000 donation to RAL, but that’s not all. With every entry, contest participants will be entering their puppers for a chance to win a year’s supply of yummy chews and treats, and the lucky winner’s human will win a 500-piece donation from the company for the shelter of their choice.
