Vet Assistant Comforts Shelter Pup After Surgery By Rocking Her Like A Baby

Spaying and neutering is an important part of finding forever homes for shelter dogs. Sweet Meesha (now named Maddie by her new family) was feeling a little lost and frightened after her surgery. Luckily, a veterinary surgical assistant for Baltimore’s BARCS Shelter was there to sweetly rock her and comfort her through it. Remember, behind every shelter dog and rescue pup is an incredible group of staff and volunteers working to make sure they ALL get the second chance they deserve!
