What It’s Like Being a New Dog in the BarkBox Pawffice

My mom recently started working at BarkBox which is seriously a huge plus for me. Now that she is a puployee she loves having the opportunity to share a FREE MONTH of BarkBox with everyone. By clicking here, you can get a free month added to any new subscription!

To get MY job at BarkBox as resident “String Cheese Wrapper Stealer”, I didn’t even have to interview, my mom did all of the paw-work and then one day came home with a tote that said “Crazy Dog Lady.” Three weeks later we walked to the Pawffice together.

This is me with the tote:

And this is me be before I was a puployee and already a BarkBox dog:

My first day at the pawffice was pretty overwhelming. I now know that there are lots of glass doors, which are pretty confusing to a dog, and it’s hard to sleep- I have to keep tabs on my hooman and she doesn’t sit still.

Long gone are the days of me sitting on the couch all day and watching House Hunters International- best show ever:

Now I play all day and rotate through ripping appart the toys in this giant mound. Today on the agenda is: taking the squeaker out of the boxing glove.

Sometimes I get sick of the toys and I hold meetings to discuss very important topics, but it seems that the hoomans don’t take me seriously because they don’t show up. This is me sitting alone waiting in a conference room:

I dabble in participating in video shoots too. Once I had to dress up as a girl Charley and wear a dress. I’d say I nailed the role and would be happy to start shooting the sequel any day now. This is me on set:

Overall I have to say I love coming to work. There are so many toys, the trashcans aren’t covered, people buy my love with treats, and there are a lot of dogs butts to sniff. I do do a lot of work though too. This is me typing a very important email to a client:

I’ve also made a lot of amazing friends. This is me and Larry!

I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for me at BarkBox. Perhaps I will get promoted to “Chief Trashcan Thief” (CTT).

More impawtantly though, as the current resident “String Cheese Wrapper Stealer,” I want to make sure that all dogs out there get to experience the thrill of getting a BarkBox. So remember to get your hooman to sign up for a 1, 3, 6, or 12-month plan by clicking here! There is a lot of exciting stuff waiting to be sent to your front door!
