Arsenal, the 7-year-old Poodle, recently broke the Guinness World Record for dogs climbing up stairs on their hind legs! The Shanghainese pup climbed up 20 stairs in 7.47 seconds, and looked damn good doing it!
Not only is Arsenal extremely handsome in that Yves Saint Bernard Tux (if he’s that cute, imagine what his tailor must look like) he definitely has the best glutes out there. We’re talking P.P.B. – that’s Primo Poodle Booty for those not following at home. I can barely make it up my stairs without taking a nap and this dog doesn’t even break a PANT! I tried doing this with my dog and he looked at me like, “How about you carry me up then I’ll slide down?”
Also, I sincerely hope the man who cued the zany, Xylophone track realizes how GOLDEN of an opportunity he missed by not playing “Chariots of Fire.”
So, what’s next for this pup? More stairs? Puppy-Formal-Wear sponsorship? Only time will tell. One thing is for sure, China is really kicking ass when it comes to world records and dog “…sports.”
