If you’re looking for some New Year fitspiration, these Yoga Dogs will get you pumped up for your next sweat sesh. Photographer Dan Borris was recently asked by NY Mag to continue his photo series of these lean, limber, and fit pets with high fashion accessories from multiple brands’ latest spring resort collections. The series appeared in the January 11, 2016 issue of New York Magazine.
If an English Bully balancing a Louis Vuitton trunk on his toes doesn’t inspire you to step up your fitness game, we don’t know what will!
Borris is a seasoned fashion photographer and has been shooting for the past three decades for outlets like New York, the New York Times, and Vanity Fair. Naturally we RUV his Yoga Dogs series! Since he first photographed a dog in a pose in 2003 his Yoga Dogs franchise has grown into a photographic retail empire.
These furry yogis are masters of more than just the Downward Dog and can assist you in taking your Yoga practice to the next level. Borris donates $1.00 to the ASPCA for every purchase of his Yoga Dogs calendars sold from their website because “when animals are happy we’re all happy.” Namaste to that!
