Not only is this tiny Yorkshire Terrier puppy adorable, and not only is it one of the smallest dogs ON THE PLANET right now! But she proves the Shakespeare quote: “She be little, but she be FIERCE.”
6-week-old Belle should be about seven times larger than she is now. And she got the hard knock end of life from the start. First, her mama pup rejected her, then she had to be resuscitated mere minutes after she was born. Then, sadly, her four other brothers and sisters in her litter died, and Belle also had to be taken to the vet for possible water on her brain.
Owner Karenza Cruse however wouldn’t give up on Belle, who in turn, would not give up on life. She had to feed Belle constantly with a syringe, and cuddles with Belle at night. Not only that, but Cruse also manages to run a guest house AND raise two children. Talk about a supermom.
In return, Belle has thrived. She’s now a mini Internet celebrity, and is definitely the teensiest superstar in her neighborhood of Great Yarmouth, England (and possibly the world). For more on her progress, you can follow her on her Facebook Page.
