CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper’s beloved dog Molly passed away on September 1st. He posted two very moving tributes to her on his Instagram.
The first one is an incredibly loving photo of the pair snuggling. The caption simply reads: “An old picture of my sweet dog Molly, who passed away today.”

The second photo is perhaps the more emotional of the two images. It’s a simple close up of Molly. What’s emotional isn’t what’s said, but rather what isn’t said. The photo appears without a caption, because there are no words that can fill any space when your best friend leaves you.
Rest in peace, Molly and run free.
