The best items of 2018 are just starting to hit the market with solutions to your most pressing pup problems. Below are our picks for the coolest dog products you can get your paws on for 2019.
CBD Extract
CBD tincture definitely has my vote for one of the coolest dog products. I have been using CBD with my senior gal Rosie for about six months. She suffers from severe arthritis, spondylosis and canine cognitive dysfunction. CBD oil not only helps ease her achy joints, it also lets her sleep through the night. No more confused wandering and pacing!
CBD has been shown to help dogs battling cancer, seizures, anxiety, and inflammatory conditions such as arthritis and gastrointestinal disorders. Although the compound CBD (cannabidiol) has been utilized for medicinal purposes for nearly 1,000 years, it is just recently gaining acceptance from the veterinary community. This is partially due to the confusion between marijuana and hemp.
Many strains of marijuana contain CBD, but they do not get their psychotropic properties from this compound. It is marijuana’s other famous cannabinoid THC that causes its signature “high.” Medicinal CBD is extracted from hemp and does not contain nearly enough THC to get your pooch “stoned.” In fact, as long as it contains no more than 0.3% THC, CBD tinctures are perfectly legal in all 50 states.

At first glance, the My Pet Pail doesn’t seem all that cool or innovative. After all, it’s basically just tupperware for dogs, right? But upon closer inspection, it turns out this nifty little kit offers a whole lot more.

The Aquapaw Bathing Tool was a huge hit at the last Global Pet Expo. It’s basically a rubber scrubbing glove with built-in adaptors for your shower or garden hose. It allows you to give your pup a good bath and rinse while still utilizing both hands to thwart escape attempts. To turn the water flow on and off, simply make a fist.
Aquapaw features yet another of the year’s upcoming coolest dog products, the Slow Treater. Made from 100% silicone, the tiny nubs trap peanut butter, Kong Stuffing, or any other gooey treat. Simply suction it to your shower wall to keep your pup busy during bath time.
POW (Pet on Wheels) Dog Carrier
If you love bringing your pup along on outdoor adventures, this safety carrier may be just what you need! I first learned about POW when my father bought a Vespa scooter. His little dog Butch loves to tag along when he rides, but we couldn’t find a single safety seat designed to fit on the back of a scooter.

I included Leanlix in my coolest dog products list because I have personally had great success using it with one of my dogs. Finch was severely matted when he was rescued. As a result, he despises any type of grooming. Haircuts, nail trims, anal glad expressions – you name it, Finch hates it.
