When it comes to finding safe toys for pups, it can be tricky to figure out what exactly is okay and what might have hidden dangers.
The crafty folks over at Pretty Fluffy shared a super easy and delicious DIY for your dog’s enjoyment. All you need is a Granny Smith apple (it’s the lowest in sugar), an apple corer, and the peanut butter of your choice (we suggest a low sugar, low sodium organic brand).
Dogs will have a grand old time batting their all natural “Kong” around in order to lap up every speck of peanut butter. While these types of treats are great for keeping bored pups busy, it’s still a good idea to monitor them while they enjoy it. A drop cloth or an old sheet to devour it on isn’t a bad idea either. Light carpets and peanut butter don’t mix well!
