Finding a dog-friendly hotel while traveling can be a pain. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were hotels where the staff was happy to see your dog when you checked in? Then today’s your lucky day.

Here are 18 hotels that will happily cater to your dog.

1. Lamb and Lion, Cape Cod, MA

This New England gem offers in-room sitting for your dog so you can enjoy the human world without having to leave your pup alone. The Lamb and Lion is near a number of dog-friendly beaches, and even offers dog-friendly whale watching.

2. Le Meurice, Paris, France

Le Meurice has been dog-friendly since the workers who constructed the building took in a stray Greyhound over 100 years ago. To this day the Greyhound is the official mascot of Le Meurice. The staff treats dogs to a pet basket, a bowl engraved with your pooch’s name, and dog-specific menus. The staff is also happy to walk your pup.

3. The Curtis Hotel, Denver, CO

This DoubleTree accommodation goes the extra mile to welcome your dog. The staff provides your pup with food and water bowls and lots of walks. They’ll also take a photo of your dog to hang on the pet club board in the lobby.

4. The Heathman Hotel, Kirkland, WA

Do you like the idea of a hotel offering your dog a bed? Well, this hotel offers your dog three. You can choose from a simple pillow model, a heated bed, or an organic bed (for dogs with allergies). They also offer their own unique dog treat, the Twisted Biscuit, made in their own kitchen.

5. Loews Hotels

At Loews, they believe that pets are people,too. While staying at a Loews Hotel, your dog will enjoy a room service menu for pets. Loews will also provide a welcome package including treats, a personalized bowl and bed. A number of services are provided, including walks and in-room sitting. Loews can be found in major cities through the United States.

6. Audrey’s Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast, Wallkill, NY

Audrey’s offers pet-sitting, but the real appeal of this B&B is that it encourages you to spend time with your dog. Their policy is an “off-leash” policy, allowing dogs to roam about the acreage and join you on nature hikes and other relaxing activities about the property. They even prepare bedtimes snacks for you and your pup.

Found in Washington, D.C., Miami, Atlanta, and Paris, France, each location offers its own unique services, but all have in-room dining for dogs. In D.C. your pooch will be pampered by the Puppy Love package, which includes a welcome bag for the pup and exclusive parking for the human. In Miami, dogs receive a personalized golden collar tag.

At Topnotch they go all out to pamper your pup. If your dog joins you in their accommodations, Topnotch will provide doggie turndown service (including dog bed and bowl), dog treats at tea time in the lobby, and a pet sitter. At The Muse, dog services are not an exception, but the rule. To prove it, their director of pet relations, Ginger, mans the desk to greet the guests!

16. XV Beacon, Boston, MA

Considered a “special guest” and not a “pet,” your dog will be regarded as the member of your family it is. The Beacon will arrange for walks and sitting if necessary and plush bed turndown service is available. Their optional $25 dollar “special guest” fee is donated entirely to the MSPCA.
