I know this isn’t pawpular opinion, and perhaps I’m a Siberian Husky at heart, but, hot-diggity-dog, am I glad winter is coming!

Game-Of-Thrones JAZZED

Winter IS coming and since most pups are already born wearing a fur coat, lots of dogs share my love of cold air, brisk winds, icicles, and of course, snowy, snowy, snow, SNOW!

Move over sweaty beach vacation! Gimme some arctic activities, glacial good-times, chocolate cocoa and hot toddies! And if you live in the tropics, or just get a case of cabin fever this winter, there are plenty of places to get frost-bound with your hound. Here’s a list of 14 Winter Wonderland Resorts where you and your cold-lovin’ canine can enjoy the fur-eezing festivites together!

6. Stowe Mountain Lodge – Stowe, Vermont

According to a TripAdvisor reviewer, “The hotel provides pet beds, treats, a walking path (fully equipped with pooper scooper bags!) Dogs are allowed (leashed) in all common areas including the elevators, upscale lobby, and all outdoor areas except the pool. Although pets are not permitted in the restaurant, we had no problem being served with our dogs by our feet on the adjacent outdoor terrace. Our dogs accompanied us on several nearby hikes and did great!”
