Dave Crissell, a 31 year old British man, wrote a hilarious grievance on Facebook recounting his experience with a possessed can of dog food, and it’s getting a lot of attention.
Crissel bought the dog food from Tesco (Amurican translation: Walmart) and woke up to find the can had, well, exploded all over his kitchen.
“I thought I heard something downstairs and my other half went to have a look and immediately said ‘You have to come downstairs, you’ll never believe this’.”
Crissell and his partner, dog behaviorist Sally Sturtt, walked into their kitchen to find dog food all over their floor, walls, and even the ceiling!
Crissell had an unexpected reaction to the explosion:
“I was just bemused more than angry because I’ve never seen anything like that before.”
Despite the accident causing some permanent damage, Dave Crissell didn’t write a diatribe full of rage and cries of injustice, he knows you catch more flies with honey (although, I am going to bet that exploded cans of dog food attracts a lot of flies anyway) and wrote this witty rant instead:
Crissell concluded his post: “Covered in dog food, Dave.”
It’s refreshing when a person can make light out of the random, inevitable annoyances in life that sometimes explode all over your kitchen.
The reason Dave Crissell may be in such good spirits? The man has seven dogs!
Tesco responded apologetically to Crissell’s post, so hopefully his pack will get some food from Tesco
for free on the doghouse. 🙂
