Noted animal rights advocate and proud dog dad, Jon Stewart, has bought a New Jersey farm with his wife, Tracey, in the hopes of turning it into an animal sanctuary for rescued farm animals.

Animal advocacy group Farm Sanctuary released the news in a press statement.

Jon and Tracey Stewart, are parents to two children, four dogs, three rabbits, two guinea pigs, two hamsters, two pigs, two fish, and a parrot. Looks like they want to expand their brood in the best way possible.

“The joy of interacting with animals as friends instead of using them for human consumption is life-changing,” said McShane in the press release.

We’d just like to say congrats to this family for taking a huge step toward making animals lives that much better.
