Today’s desk cry is brought to you by Caleb the boy and Colonel the Golden Retriever. In 2007, then six-year-old Caleb Howard was severely injured in a head-on collision. Caleb was left with traumatic brain injuries and broken bones. His recovery was slow-going until he met Colonel, a therapy dog. Almost immediately, Caleb showed signs of recovery. Thanks to the fluffy-haired “Gold Retriever,” his transformation is truly incredible to witness.
