Welcome to Bark After Dark, a series of hilarious but slightly unusual articles we post in the wee hours of the morning for you weirdos night owls. Not for the faint of heart, weak of stomach, or low of humor. Enjoy!
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, i.e., don’t have a Netflix account, you’ve probably already seen Making A Murderer. It chronicles the life of Steven Avery, a Wisconsin man who, after 18 years in prison was exonerated for a crime he didn’t commit, only to find himself back behind bars a few years later, under highly suspicious circumstances. The series has consumed pop culture. There are online quizzes, yelp reviews, debates, and of course, parodies. One parody in pawticular caught our attention…
Created by Graham Wallace and Mitch Wells, and starring Kyle June Williams, “Making A Murderer: Wisconsin vs. Fern The Dog” is part spoof, part satire, and all sorts of brilliant – proving that not even puppies are safe from the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
