Deputy Picks Up Sweet Lost Pit Bull, Snaps Selfies To Commemorate Their Friendship

This poor Pit Bull was wandering an Arizona gas station all by his lonesome until Deputy Donald Molchan of the Pima County Sheriff's Department came onto the scene. [bp_related_article] The deputy was on patrol when he spotted the pooch without his owner. He quickly approached the distressed dog and, within minutes, the two became buddies. Deputy Befriends Lost Pit Bull Dog Molchan soon started snapping selfies with the pup outside of the Circle K. The photos later ended up on the department's Facebook page, where they've garnered hundreds of likes and dozens of shares since yesterday. After giving the dog some water, the deputy took him to the Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson. "It became clear almost immediately that the dog was just a big friendly pup looking for his home. Deputy Molchan described the dog as super friendly, playful and comfortable around people. The dog was also neutered, and was wearing a collar."

If you know this dog, or would like more information about him, please contact the Pima Animal Care Center at (520) 724-5900. Here's to hoping he can be reunited with his owner or find a new forever home soon!
