The Art Car Boot Fair is an annual event where artists come to sell bargain priced art to fans for prices comparable to a car boot sale rather than a gallery. It’s the perfect place to find a quality piece for a bargain and a day where artists can let loose and engage with fans in a less formal way.
Photos of this year’s “Year of the Dog” themed Art Car Boot Fair will make you seriously jelly if you happen to have missed out. Whether you’re a devoted pinner or looking for a quirky piece of pup art for your kitchen, the fair seemed to have something for every type of dog ruver.
This year’s “Year of the Dog” theme encouraged artists to turn to four-pawed puppers for ins-paw-ration. The unique pieces up for sale ranged from dog portraits painted on vinyl records to postcards.
Duo Keeler Tornero created these beauties.
There were aderpable pooches chilling in vintage cars…
…and posing in front of them.
Artist Marty Thornton created these pawesome “doggy bags”.
Ray Richardson and Simon Stephenson created pup pieces for Art On a Postcard – donating proceeds to The Hepatitis C Trust.
Sir Peter Blake was there to meet dog ruving fans.
Like any good event there was plenty of time for a photo op.
